Description

High Power Fiber Optic Patch cords manufactured by ANC International Co., Limited are specifically for high power applications. These patchcords feature special high power fibers, carefully prepared fiber endfaces, and specially designed fiber optic connectors to ensure maximum power handling. The High power patch cords have stainless steel armored cable jacket with air gap fiber ferrules. High power connectors compatible with SMA 905 , FC and ST receptacles are offered. High power patchcords can be made using either multimode, singlemode, polarization maintaining, double cladded, or photonic crystal ("holey") fibers.

The ferrule design of the SMA connector is engineered for large core fibers. Except regular 126-130um SMA ferrule inner diameter, SMA connector has also 200um, 400um, 600um or 1000um inner diameter optional. The large core SMA connector uses mainly stainless steel ferrule inside. The high power SMA patch cord is mainly used for laser industrial or medical applications.
