It helps to test the transmitter capability and receiver sensitivity of network equipment. MPO MTP loopback is used as an optical testing equipment to test parallel links in networks or devices by "looping back" the connections from the TX (transmit) pairs to the RX (receive) pairs. MPO MTP Loopbacks allow verification and testing of transceivers featuring MTP interface – 40GBASE-SR4 QSFP+ or 100GBASE-SR4 devices etc. They provide the most effective way of testing transmission capability and receiver sensitivity of network equipment.
